We asked the superstars in our Learners Program a few questions about their construction journey so far, here’s what our Cadet Foreman, Lucas Perry had to say.

Question 1: Why did you choose a career in construction?
I’ve always been intrigued by the built environment. I enjoy seeing and being involved in a project as a building comes to life and takes shape through the various stages.

Question 2: What do you love about being part of Balmain & Co's Learners Program?
Working in a team environment and being surrounded with different groups of good people who you can bounce ideas off and learn from.

Question 3: What is the most valuable piece of advice you’ve received so far?
It’s okay to make mistakes, everyone does, as long as you learn from them.

Question 4: What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Playing footy and golf are definitely up there, also watching different international sports such as the F1, NBA and NFL.
